How It All Began
The foundation of the Nedivah Project began through personal experience when Craig Finely, went to Uganda on a whim.
What started as a single trip quickly grew into long-term relationships with local leaders, families, and medical professionals.
Through time spent in the country, it became clear that the greatest need was not to introduce something new, but to support what was already being built. The Nedivah Project was formed out of that realization. to come alongside local efforts and help carry them forward

Jinja Children’s Home

In Jinja, the Nedivah Project partners with a children’s home that provides care for approximately 50 children who no longer have living family support. The home is led by a director, Joseph who was once raised in the same orphanage and returned when the former orphanage director died, he longs to create stability and opportunity for the next generation.
When the partnership first began, resources were extremely limited. The children were facing food insecurity, overcrowded living conditions, and a lack of access to education. Since then, significant progress has been made. The children now have consistent meals, improved housing, and the ability to attend school regularly.
Beyond meeting physical needs, the home provides a sense of family, structure, and hope for the future. Ongoing support focuses on continuing to strengthen these foundations while also creating opportunities for higher education and long-term personal development as well as skills in trade.
Hope For Resotration
Medical Mission
A central part of the mission is providing medical care to underserved communities, particularly those living on remote islands in Lake Victoria where access to healthcare is extremely limited.
In partnership with a Ugandan-led medical team of over 50 individuals, mobile clinics are brought directly to these communities. These clinics provide essential services such as general medical care, dental treatment, pharmacy distribution, and preventative health support. For many individuals, this is their only opportunity to receive medical attention without traveling long distances off the island.
Each outreach serves hundreds of patients and addresses a wide range of conditions, from common illnesses to chronic diseases. Providing: dental care, immunizations, counseling, medical supplies, medication, Laboratory testing and clothing
We partner with a local Ugandan Doctor, Dr.Dennis who leads and plans the outreach. He is the director of Hope for restoration project which started with the desire to create a change in the ongoing issue of abuse and exploitation of women and young girls regarding the lack of sanitary pads .
Hope for Doctors and beyond started “during the outbreak of the COVID 19 pandemic. During the intensive lockdown, our medical team in partnership with the Uganda Red Cross Society – Entebbe took it upon themselves to extend our medical services to communities/families that were in dire need during this period. This meant that due to the hardships in people’s movements then, we chose to go to them instead of them coming to us.”
